Halloween!!

Well, to start everything off right on Halloween, my Granny Grampa and Aunty Beryl came up to Calgary to visit us while we were visiting my mom. They got to see Jaymeson and they spoiled my girls. It was awesome to see them again.

My little Tooth Fairy (she lost her first tooth just two days before Halloween) and Cinderella.

My "very two" Saryn as a Mexican Dancer (an old dance costume of mine)

My three little girls right before heading out to Cahoon's.

Jaymeson as a teddy bear.

The Cahoon crew (L to R): Bruce, Tyrus, Marvel, Saryn, Shaylene, Kienna, Lander, Jasper, Kaia, Jaymeson, Taysia, Kindred. (We missed you Levi and Enoch)

We had a great Halloween!! We got ready and headed over to Cahoon's to go trick-or-treating with the cousins. The girls had a blast (Jaymeson stayed at home with Granni Cahoon). Kaia wanted her picture taken after every house. Kienna, I realized about half way around the block, went out without any shoes (socked feet wouldn't normally cover the warmth....I figure let her live it up, right?). Saryn didn't quite understand all that was going on, but was thrilled with all the candy involved. Thank heaven for Grandpa Bucey helping her down all the steps. Kindred was so sweet too. Between each house, she would say, "Saryn, hands!!" and then they'd walk to the next house holding hands (see the pictures below). It was very sweet. After trick-or-treating around the cul-de-sac at Jarett's parent's house (enjoying the amazing weather), and swinging by Marella's house, we went back to my parents and had a delicious dinner. After a couple little treats (Marilyn Broadhurst gave us fun chocolate cookies on a stick that looked like cats), we went back out and walked down my parents street with Jasper and back again. Saryn didn't have shoes (we left them at Cahoons) so we cut it short, and pulled her in a wagon. Thank heaven it was such beautiful weather. We didn't have to wear shoes, nevermind winter coats etc. Then it was back to the house and the kids started to share all their big treats. Kienna even gave her full sized Oh! Henry to my Granny (who of course refused it with a big thank you anyway). I was so proud of how generous they all were. After a late night, they were all exhausted, so we had a great nights sleep (well, they did) and we came back to Edmonton the next day.

Some random pics through the night....

Happy Halloween!!

Wow Ash they look adorable! I love the tooth fairy to celebrate the lose of a the big first tooth. Can't believe how grown up the K's are! And I'm terribly jealous of Gran, Gramps and Aunty Beryl getting to hold Jaymeson...who is about the sweetest teddy bear I've ever seen. And I'm glad that you renamed the Saryn's costume...she's not yet old enough to be a Taquila dancer, is she? Oh, the memories!

PS I actually think Kaia was trying to be me for Halloween by putting a dot on her forehead. What happened there?

Ahhhh, so cute! What fun pictures and what a fun family! Jaxon had that same little bear suit. He grew out of it way too fast. Oh, and we're going to be home for christmas so maybe we can all try and get together, eh?
