Aunty Lella's Wedding

As many people realized, this year 09/09/09 was a special day, but it was special for another reason in our family. Jarett's sister Marella got married to Dey. My girls were unofficial flower girls and had a blast! 10 days later, we went down to Calgary for the reception and stayed up late dancing and having so much fun.
Congrats Marella and Dey!

My girls in curlers the night before.
We had to have them wrapped up in a bandana to make it stay in...

Jaymeson sporting his bowtie!

All the girls (neices of Marella) watching through the temple window waiting for her to come out.

The oldest and the youngest grandsons. Tyrus is so good with Jaymeson.

The only way to get boys to focus on a picture is to say SPIDERMAN!!
Jaymeson might have been a little confused...

Kaia was climbing up in the temple window while waiting for Marella. We've talked about this since to make sure she knows that's probably not the best choice of activities in a sacred place.

Isn't Marella beautiful?!? Lucky Dey!

The Reception - 09/19/09

Saryn was dancing like crazy. She's so funny.

The Cahoons getting down!

Grandpa Bucey dancing with Kaia and Marvel.

The oldest girls of each family. These girls danced hard all night long!
Kindred took a turn in the break dancing circle. Laughed my head off!

Jarett and his mommy! He's obviously proud of having her on his arm...

Bucey was a highly demanded dancing partner!

This was completely candid. She was just super excited!

I love how good of an Aunt Marella is - down on the floor on her knees in her wedding dress.

Kaia and Marvel danced almost the whole night. Isn't it great to have older cousins to play with?

Taysia! This girl was 3 when I first met her and I can't believe how old she's getting.
Love this picture. Jaymeson is SO spoiled with attention whenever his cousins are around.

Logan Dj'd the wedding. He is one of my close friends growing up. We've known eachother since Grade 2. I had no idea that he'd be there. It's a small world after all....

I was walking around and Kipp took my camera and just took a picture of me and Jaymeson. It turned out pretty good. Thanks Kipp!

These next few pictures were taken in the "secret room" where the girls would all run off to to hide from their moms. They had little baskets of candy that they brought around to everyone. After a while, they decided to ditch out and just eat all the candy. Erin totally busted them and got the wedding photographer. Those pictures will be awesome!

I totally remember doing this with my Sunday Dress...

It was SUCH a fun reception and it was awesome to see them get married. It was the first time with all the Cahoon kids in the Temple. It was an awesome experience!! Congrats Marella and Dey. I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Little Dude....

Just an update on Little Dude (aka Jaymeson). I wrote before the the doctor thought he had Asthma. He has improved amazingly since the treatment and has rid himself of his brutal cough/breathing abilities. His eczema, however, has flared up ridiculously and he is randomly throwing up all morning some mornings (while having his sweet little smiley face) as though clearing something out of his system. He's up all night and I constantly catch him rubbing his elbow on anything and everything he can to get the itch out. Then comes the batting of the ears... he's swinging at them and rubbing them and they're driving him crazy. He's screaming at night and it's just no end. I bring him in to the doctor (due to Jarett and Kienna I am really paranoid about ear infections) and - no ear infection. It looks irritated, but no infection (same as about a week before when we did our 9 month physical)... he asks if there are any allergies in my family. Courtesy of my father, we have seasonal allergies, but no one in my family has them really. No real food allergies, but there's always a start, right? Anyway, so he sends us to do blood work for an allergy test (note to self, a 10 month old getting blood work done is NOT a favorite past time....especially with two other kids in tow). He'll call us if there's anything that shows up. While we're drawing blood, the stupid nurse missed his vein because - oh, she couldn't see it. Finally after 4 or 5 attempts (imagine Jaymeson screaming his head off here and I have to hold him still...) she decides to call another nurse who gets it in the other arm the very first try without making Little Dude flinch or anything. Some nurses seriously just have "the touch". Anyway, we're now awaiting the results... but he was vomiting all morning again... sounds like he's pretty miserable?? Check it out!
Nope, he's pretty much tough as nails...I love this Little Dude

On a different note.....
CONGRATS TO ALANNA
having her baby (another little dude) today at 7 lbs 8 oz in less than 30 minutes flat!
Name and pictures to come...

A Whole New Basket of Thoughts....

First of all, I want to thank every person for expressing their views in the last two posts. It is very fun to hear so many opinions and I can see every view point I have heard. So thank you, it's fun to hear from everyone. They say that if you want to steer clear of contention, avoid talking about religion or politics. I can see why after writing those blogs. So I digress and I stick to something less contentious.....laundry baskets.

It is difficult to think of any cons in reference to laundry baskets. Of course, they aren't free....but the price can be reasonable. There are multiple shapes and colours of baskets, some are customized to fit your hip, some are just small round ones, but whatever your laundry basket - all have a few WONDERFUL things in common.

1. They can carry laundry in them.
2. They are easier to use than carrying your laundry in your arms.
3. They are made of plastic that is strong (for the most part).
3. They can be used to organize closets, cupboards and transport things of all sorts.
4. They can be turned into vast imaginary objects: trucks, boats, swimming pools, hot tubs, bath tubs, tents, barbie houses, animal traps, pony castles, stages, jail cells....the list goes on and on.

This summer, my kids sure had a lot of fun with the huge variety found at my moms house. I had 3 sisters who brought home laundry baskets from college, my mom has a few varieties around the house and of course, we had a couple too. Poor Jaymeson was frequently the animal in the animal trap, the object to be transported or the person to be bathed. Saryn was a volunteer too... Regardless, fun was had by all!!

One more note....

In response to the responses on my last post, I want to say a couple things:

I believe that Canada does have great doctors in some places (I think primarily in Southern Alberta where people want to stay where they have had family for generations). My Uncle is a doctor down there and I know of a few others that are phenomenal doctors that are in Lethbridge or south... I just think that the good doctors have been taken and its next to impossible to find a new one that is a quality doctor. I too, am very lucky to have a good family doctor that I've had since I was a kid, but she hasn't accepted new people for over 5 years.

One point is also that people up in Canada hear horror stories about babies being born and costing thousands and thousands of dollars. I had 2 babies in the states. I was a student for one and Jarett worked at a Call Center for others. Neither of which were great money - but we weren't in the poverty line. One of these births was induced and the other was a C-section. All being said, both babies combined cost less than $350 including the prenatal care, the delivery the stay at the hospital and the recovery. Also, the stays at the hospital were 1000x better. The food was better (they even brought Jarett and I a steak dinner with Sparkling Apple Juice to celebrate), the care was better, you had a private room that looked like a hotel suite.... it goes on and on. I think on both sides of the border, we only hear horror stories from the other system.

I truly do believe that if we could find a program that could keep the government in check, and we had the OPTION to choose which one we wanted, that would be the best. But as to whether Canada's system works - I'd say no. Anyway.....thank you for your responses. It's really interesting to me to hear where other people are coming from!

Canadian Health Care

I have quite a few friends in the states and have been asked a few times what I think of Canadian Health Care. I thought I'd share one of my responses, so that anyone who WAS wondering, but didn't think to ask their Canadian friend can know too...

The question was, "Um......Do you like Canadian Health Care?"

My answer: NO!!!! I mean, I can totally see how it sounds appealing, but NO!!! THere are so many horrid things that result. I wish democrats could see how bad it is. It's VERY true that Canadians come across the border to get surgery and diagnoses frequently even WITHOUT INSURANCE - because it's worth it!! The best doctors go to the states to practice because they get paid more because it's based on how good they are....now on how many patients the can smush into their practice.

You cannot count the amount of horror stories that result because of the long wait in the emergency room. I'm talking 5 hours for a cousin of mine with a ruptured appendix; I'm talking of a friend of mine who had a miscarriage while waiting over 2 hours; I'm talking about 3 hours with a daughter who was in anaphelactic shock; I'm talking over 2 hours for my mom who sliced up her hand in a blender and had it oozing with blood....

2. Doctors completely lack motivation and it shows through their work. They keep patients waiting for
hours. Seriously, a good day is a 1 hour wait when you HAVE an appointment set up. I have been "tested" for strep throat by a doctor looking in my throat and saying, yeah, that looks like it could be strep....here's a prescription. No swab or anything. If they aRE motivated enough to do a swab, it takes 48 hours (minimum) to get the results - if you go in the morning. If you go in the afternoon, it takes 72 hours. I know someone who had a biopsy and didn't get the results for over 2 weeks....because the government runs the medical community, there's no competition to get things done and no one works beyond 9-5, so they can't get the results that fast. With a 3 year old child with a broken collarbone, I waited 3 hours to get into the doctor to give the requisition to get an x-ray (nope, they dont' have one right in their office), walked across the street to the radiology clinic, waited 2 hours there; walked back with the results (they don't send them or call them in) and waited another hour or so before the doctor could see us and tell us that it was broken.
You also don't have NICE doctors offices. They cram as much into their little places as possible - because they don't care about how people feel. There's a shortage of doctors (because they all want to go to the states to work) so people have to come to no matter how bad the doctor is.
3. You have to get a referral to see ANY specialist. Pediatrician, OB/GYN, Dermatologist - anything. This means, you have to get a General Practitioner to check that you're REALLY pregnany and then they'll refer you to an OB; of your baby has to have a serious illness (or you have to be really pushy) to get them into a pediatrician. The GP's don't want to give you the referral because that takes their business away and gives it to a specialist. (Once you're in with a specialist it's much better because so few people can get there....) Referrals to surgeons are included in this. I know of someone who had severe back pain and couldn't get in to have surgery fast enough, so he commited suicide to get out of his pain. I also know of someone who had been to doctor after doctor for 2 years. They all misdiagnosed (due to lack of testing). Finally, he went down to the states to get testing and got a correct diagnosis the first try. Apparently, he had a disease that is completely curable when caught early enough, but his hand progressed too far over his 2 years and he came home and died 6 weeks later.
Now, I know these sound like extreme stories, but they are SO common. Everyone knows someone who has had experiences like this. These aren't horror stories that I've heard through the grapevine. They are people I KNOW.
My daughter has chronic ear and throat infections. She has since she was a baby... We were in the states for the first year of her life and after 2 months of chronic infections, she was referred to an ENT and had ear tubes put in within 2 weeks. We moved to Canada a week later and had to get a follow up done by an ENT up here. I had to go to a GP, get a referral to an ENT who said they could get me in 6 MONTHS LATER!! Because I'm pushy and have a pushy MIL who has connections, I was able to get the appointment on a cancellation. Fast forward 4 years... she's having chronic throat infections and her ear infections are resurfacing. I asked the Pediatrician to give a referral to an ENT (referrals expire after a year). He puts a rush on it and everything and sent the request out on October 6th of last year. In April, I got a phone call saying that they were now booking her appointment for September 28th. So, we'll get to see what the ENT says nearly 1 YEAR after needing the appointment. Classic.

My Grandmother went to a GP who said that they were fairly certain that she had Ovarian Cancer (the silent killer). They couldn't verify it until she had an ultrasound. They called to book her in....not an opening for 6 MONTHS!! Luckily it was yet another misdiagnosis.

Another things which is really misrepresented about Socialized Health Care is that it's "free". True, there are no co-pays etc., but if you go an entire year without going to the doctor, you still pay through the nose in your taxes. Taxes in Canada can be as high as 50% of your income. This is to fund health care and other such programs. Health care is taken care of by each province (state) and you have to pay an annual fee according to your income in addition to the ridiculously high taxes. Another thing that come up is that no one knows how much hospitals/doctors are actually charging. There's no competition. The government has complete monopoly on health care, so they charge through the roof and it comes from YOUR TAXES. When Kienna was a baby (we were living in the states) and we came to visit Canada. She got very ill and was in the hospital. She, as a newborn shared a room with 5 other sick newborns with only a curtain partition between them. I slept on a chair in the corner of the room and had to use a bathroom on the other side of the hospital (No private bathrooms). For this incredible situation, they charged $4000 a NIGHT. That's no including doctor fees, medication or anything else. This price is never put in check because nobody knows that's what they charge the government (which is paid with your taxes). A C-section in the states 2 weeks earlier including doctors fees, all medication, the surgery and the stay at the hospital for both the baby and myself for 3 days cost $1500 before the insurance kicked in. There's really no comparison.

Another great story is just last October, I had a baby born (by the way, no one EVER stays in the hospital more than 24 hours up here unless you have a C-section) with a inguinal hernia. Apparently THAT hospital doesn't do that kind of surgery ...(the government selects what hospital will take care of what) and within 12 hours of delivering a baby, I was sent with my newborn to a different hospital to WAIT IN THE ER for a pediatric surgeon to assess him. He decided it COULD wait and so I was sent back to the OTHER hospital to finish my 24 hours if I WANTED. I could've just gone home too. I got to wait 4 weeks with a brand new baby in pain from an enormous hernia before they could squeeze him in to fix it. I was told to just watch him and if he looked like the hernia got worse, to take him in (I was not given any instructions as to what would make a hernia look worse or anything and I have no experience in the medical field).

As I said, these are just a FEW of my personal stories to do with the Canadian Health Care. I hear that it's not as bad as England's either because they have had THAT many more years for the government to corrupt their system. There are MANY more crazy stories outt here that I have NEVER heard, these aren't even a fraction of the ones that I HAVE heard. There are a few good stories that come out too....There are some good doctors that have stuck around because they have family here etc. and they make all the difference. I LOVE my pediatrician for instance. He has resisted the urge that all other doctors have, to overbook himself. That way, if there is an urgent need to see him, you can usually get in that very same day. He is a rare breed.....and a specialist. Usually you aren't even allowed to pick which specialist you want....and the GP's are almost all completely booked. It's next to impossible to get a GP these days....they have a cap of how many patients they'll take and then that's it. My apologies for the rant, I hope that you spread it around... I just don't think that people in the States realize how good you have it!

Random events

Where to begin?? Well, a-blogging we will go. we'll start small (mostly because I'll forget those faster) and then we'll do events one at a time.

Saryn in a prayer: "Thank you that I look so cute in a pony-tail."

Last night she was asleep and I gave her a hug and whispered in her ear: "Good night sweet little girl." She rolled over and mumbled, "Big girl" and fell right back asleep.

Kaia lost her 2 front teeth this summer.....she looks SO cute. It literally took until her big tooth came in before she'd let her other one be pushed out. I finally was able to convince her that I could pull her second front tooth out when it was completely hanging down and bleeding. She literally screamed for 5 minutes at the top of her lungs and then was glad it was over... check her out.

Jaymeson surprised us with how fast he got all his teeth in. This picture was taken in July when his third tooth popped through his gum. He actually just got his 6th this past week and hopefully we'll have no more for a little while. Teething is quite horrid....but doesn't he look super cute??

Jarett and I had a great opportunity to go to the Canada Day football game between the Stampeders and the Alouettes. Ben Cahoon is a slotback with the Montreal Alouettes. He won the award for the Most Outstanding Canadian in the CFL two years in a row in 2002 and 2003. He is currently 7th overall pass receiver in the history of the CFL......he's also Jarett's 2nd cousin. Ben had given some tickets to his first cousin who is in my parents ward. They couldn't attend, so they passed them on to the second cousins. I couldn't BELIEVE the seats. It was AWESOME. Front row seats in McMahon Stadium right at the end line. It was a phenomenal game - even though the stampeders won. It was really fun to have people around us wearing an Alouette jersey with CAHOON written across the back yelling out, "Bring out Cahoon". It was also great to be out without the kids and do something different than dinner and/or a movie! Check out these seats!

This is what they made us do. We told them Ben Cahoon was a cousin and they were all excited when we walked by. One guy even said, "Hey move over - that's Cahoon's cousin". It was really funny. I had no idea he was THAT big. I was also totally hit on by a couple of really drunk huge idiots. It was great. What more could you want from a football game?
The view from our seats while sitting down...

Brooklyn went to grad a couple times when we first got here. One time she got to go in an AMAZING car. Check this baby out.....

She looked so gorgeous and it was so much fun to see her all growed up...

Our "brother" (who has adopted himself into our family) went on his mission in May. He is going Hmong speaking and it's crazy that he's going to be gone for so long. My sister Kim and her friend Melissa hosted a party and we made a Book of Mormon cake in Hmong. I did the writing and was very proud of how little I could write. It was really fun to challenge myself.
Alanna, my older sister, and I used to compete in speech competitions doing poems, stories, solo scenes and duologues. We had MANY a great times in the process, but one of Alanna's favorites (she actually was invited to provincials to compete with this piece) was called "Quilters". It was about a young Tom Boy who was just sick about her older sister who made a whole bunch of Sunbonnet Sue Quilts. To please her mother, this poor girl decides to make her own Sunbonnet Sue Quilt and calls it the 'Demise of Sunbonnet Sue'. It's hilarious and we often go back and remember it.
Ironically, Alanna has turned into that older sister who is the big quilter. She does phenomenal work, and I was lucky enough to be a recipient of one of her quilts this summer. It is adorable and sweet little Jaymeson loves it too...

Even I have been motivated to finish a quilt that my mother-in-law had made the top for. She worked crazy hard on the top while Jarett was on his mission so that she could get it all the way done when he got home, but then she worried that his wife (me) might not like the material she chose as a backing, so she left it for until he was married. I've known about this quilt since we got married (um, about 8 years ago) and we're FINALLY getting it done - I'm SO EXCITED!! This was a LOT of work (and isn't quite finished yet), but I have learned a lot and I'm SO excited for it to be done.

Very typical scene while quilting.
This quilt has already been used quite a few times and it's not even done yet....haha.

Well, I'll have to do more updates later, but those are a bunch of small events that we did through the summer. So many more that I could do. We'll see what ends up being on here. Can't wait to get caught up. It's fun to go back and see all that we did over the last 4 months. I can't believe we fit it all in...

House not for Sale!

Okay, so I'm getting excited about being on the final stretch here in E-town. A lot of my friends have had to deal with selling their houses as they leave. As we have been renting, I don't have to, but I was thinking about how hard it is to sell. I think I'll try a Real Estate ad for our house. Just to see if anyone out there would bite.

For SALE - Townhouse.
Built in 1960's, no new updates.

Full backyard (approx 12x14 ft), with half-sized fencing....for as little privacy as possible from the open field and the 12 other houses backing onto it.
We also have a front garden bed that has the dryer blowing lint into it every time creating a beautiful WHITE effect in your garden...

All painted in 'Navajo White' so that it can match everything (except white of course).

The floors are finished throughout the entire house in linoleum (not laminate) and were made to match local shopping malls such as the famous West Edmonton Mall. The floors are wonderful as they look just as clean after you sweep as before, hiding any dirt that you would want from your guests.

The house is an architectural masterpiece with the stairs splitting the house into 2 halves minimizing the usable square footage. Oh, and speaking of the stairs - these babies were built explicitly with your children and your figure in mind.

Not only can you save money by not buying a stair-master due to the extreme steepness and narrowness of each step, but they are solid wood, so those slips down the stairs are full of cushiony happiness. The stairs to the basement have their own little flair in that they are just wide enough apart that your kids can play on them by dangling their feet and legs - and pretty much their entire bodies through the "open back feature". Stairs that are great for the whole family!

Now, speaking of the family, this sweet deal also has a smaller fridge for your family. Not only can the adults have a great view of the top of the fridge, but the kids have easy access to the fridge AND the freezer.

Now, no house would be complete without many a wonderful window well of goodness. This is a great place to exercise your arms when you clean out the vast amounts of mold that grow like annuals - every spring. This mold isn't just any mold though, it has given every baby born in this complex, that I have met, Asthma - This could also be incentive because it's a law suit waiting to happen...

This place has 3 bedrooms that might be able to fit a queen sized bed (no dressers please) and 1 bathroom found on the top level.

It has 1 perfect sized mirror (who needs to see more than their face, right?).

and the largest linen closet EVER - check THIS baby out....

When you are looking for a house, you are told it's about LOCATION, right? So here's a little bit about where we are. We face right onto a major road kitty-corner from a Jr High (those angel kids). We also have a luxury of a bus stop right in front of our house. We get to hear buses coming and going all day - this has been wonderful for Jarett going to school, and it has also kept the kids from even thinking about running into the road. We ARE about 2 blocks from the church and temple and have VERY quick access to our beautiful city's major highway. We also have this beautiful landmark "U" tree which says this deal is perfect for "U"!
Of course, the neighbours are superb. We've only heard about 3 or 4 death threats since we arrived and the neighbourhood kids are plenty (tho' parents are few)....
Can't believe we're leaving this place. It sure has been a gem over the last 3 years (will be 4 when we go). Sigh, I guess we all have to move on in life....

Either way, we haven't decided on a price, let me know what you'd be willing to pay and we'll negotiate. It's hard to pass up on a deal like this... Anyone interested?

This is making me think about being a Realtor - I think I have the touch...
(Oh, and just in case anyone is wondering why we ever moved here in the first place, I just have to say, "Subsidized housing baby!! - $120/month! Gotta love Edmonton Housing)

First Day of School - and the Bad Kind of Bubbles

Well, it's happened - I have two little girls in school!

Our tradition has always been to have a big breakfast and priesthood blessings and then have some pictures and then head to school. This year, however, Jarett had to go to school at 7:30 and so we decided to have our breakfast and blessings the night before. It was wonderful. The girls received incredible blessings and it was extremely wonderful. We had a great breakfast and put the kids to bed. This morning was a more typical school morning. Just up and go. Kaia was so excited to go to school that she woke up at about 6:30. We all walked Kaia to school and saw that she had a new teacher - Mme Henry. For those of you who know my frustrations with Kaia's teacher last year, you'll be relieved to know that this teacher seems fabulous. It's a small class of 17 and the teacher just really seems to know how to handle this age group and make everyone feel special (while still pushing them to do their best). Kaia was so excited to stay all day (no seperation anxiety here, that's for sure). She actually was upset that I got her to come home for lunch today. Tomorrow the packed lunches start and my big girl is going to be gone from 8:30-3:30 every day. Yikes! Anyway, thankfully some friends had a camera at the class because I forgot to bring mine (it was a crazy morning). Here's Kaia in her big Grade 1 desk....doesn't she look so grown up?

Now, after lunch, Kienna got to have her turn going to school and meeting her teacher for and a few of her classmates. They have only 4 kindergarten kids come in at a time to meet up with their teacher so they get to feel comfortable before all of them come in. This is SUCH a great approach for someone like Kienna. I've been really nervous for her to start kindergarten because she's SO shy with new situations. She has a really hard time getting out of her comfort zone and meeting new people because Kaia is usually there to do it for her. She got there and Mme Khan was warm and welcoming - and knew who she was from the last name and the same mom accompanying from Kaia coming the year before. Kienna had SO much fun. She was so excited to have her own nametag and her name was on a coathook and EVERYTHING. She was so cute. She barely remembered to put her shoes on (even after around 20 times reminding her). She was just so distracted by all the fun things. When she was done, she ran out to tell me that she got to paint 3 PICTURES!! She had so much fun and I'm so glad that the nerves are behind her and that she's going to do alright. Here she is in front of her class and with her "coathook name". I can't believe she's getting so big....my little sweetheart.
You can see how nervous she is in this pic. She warmed up soon though...

Saryn was desperately wanting to go to school too. She went in and sat at a desk when Kaia went in the morning. When it was Kienna's turn, she went and sat on the carpet and was ready to roll. She was so sad when I told her we had to leave, but she would get her turn in just 2 more years... apparently that seems faster to me than to her.

Oh, on a side note, Jaymeson was officially diagnosed with Asthma yesterday - he has a bad case of the wheezes and eczema and he's throwing up frequently. He seems to have caught the 3 curses of our family - sigh. Anyway.....back to today.

Overall, the girls LOVED their first day of school and are super excited for a fun year.

Jarett, on the other hand, had a rather rough start to his school year. As Kaia had jumped into bed with us at 6:30, Jarett moaned and rolled over to find out that his back had gone out and he couldn't move without severe pain. After a lot of massaging, Ibuprofen and showering, he felt like he'd be able to make it to school. Classes went well, but as soon as he got home, he collapsed on the couch. After about an hour of never getting comfortable, he was able to get himself upstairs and he's stayed in bed ever since. I do have to say, if it wasn't for the pain, the day wouldn't have been that bad. He's got dinner served to him in bed and the girls keep coming in to entertain him. Kienna even brought him some water because she thought he'd like it.

Saryn fell asleep at the dinner table, I carried her upstairs. Jaymeson was soon to follow. The older two girls played for a long time and both collapsed asleep once it was time for bed (except for dealing with what feels like a Sauna in their bedroom). Once watered down, they were asleep in 2 seconds flat. Because Jarett is 'out of service', I've been running left, right and center trying to get dinner, bedtime and unpacking all under control. I apparently forgot that I was doing dishes while putting the kids to bed. I had thought before that nothing with bubbles could be upsetting.....I was wrong. Check it out.....

Anyway, it's been a long but very good day. I feel excited about this year and I'm sure things will work out great! We're down to our last year in law school and I can FINALLY see the light at the end of the tunnel. He's done his MBA and it's just under 8 months, he'll finish his last final and then we'll be done with University forever (please - oh, please!!) Can't believe all that is going on. Sigh. Can't wait - BRING IT ON!!
