The Night Before School Starts

'Twas the night before school starts
and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
except for a mouse.

The backpacks were put on the table with care
in hopes that no droppings soon would be there.

The traps were put out,
The rooms were all cleared,
The kids moved upstairs
For the mouse was quite feared.

The first day of school we're hoping will be,
a little less scary than school starting's eve!

I can't believe it! I am such a pansy when it comes to rodents. Bleh! You've had more than your fair share!
