What do you do in April when you live at your Moms?

Well, you get ready to move, play the AWESOME piano, finish a quilt, lose a tooth, play with cousins, do some fun photo shoots (indoor of course due to all the ridiculous snow) and all sorts of fun things!

Finish off your cousins desserts...
protect your ears when the movies get too loud...
Gaze longingly out of the back door at your sisters (who ARE clothed) jumping on the trampoline...
Play dress-ups in my old Dance Costumes...
Help Gran clean out the fridge...
Play with cousins (Jaymeson and Carson) while Mom takes a million pictures
Jaymeson ALWAYS greets Carson by patting him on the head...
Jaymeson also has an obsession with the phone...
There is also MUCH Lego involved during playtime...

Jarom and Kaia
This is a "Oh yeah?!?" face...
I LOVE this face...
Kaia's idea was to do Karate for the pictures.  This reflected their "competitive" sides...
This also was taken to reflect their personalities.  A quiz where they had to write it the fastest and get the most right.  The problem they faced was that they KNEW all THOSE questions...
I told them that it didn't matter because it wasn't a real test.  It was just for the picture and then they were okay.  Do we have nerdy 7 year olds?  Yes, we do!

Travis and Kienna
The only way that I could convince these boys to cooperate was to tell them this was a surprise for their mom.  At this point, Alanna came home, so I couldn't get pictures of Saryn and Jack.  Next time we'll start with them...

Hope you enjoyed my mini-photoshoot.  I didn't edit any of these, but I didn't want to delay another post on my blog again.  I'm hoping to start posting at least a couple times a week again.  So keep checking!

Checking In

Well, we are alive and well.  We're unpacking and loving the new house.  Having family around is AWESOME!!  I've been SO crazy busy that I'm hardly EVER even thinking about blogging (or reading blogs - sorry for the lack of comments all you people).

We've been in the new ward for 2 full weeks and Jarett and I have both been called as Primary Workers.  I'm teaching 7 sunbeams and Jarett (along with 3 other adults) are in the nursery watching 6  18-24 month olds.

Kaia has made a really good friend with Maci Clements (Ryan and Meghann's daughter) and they are both wild and crazy as 7 year olds can be.  They're very excited that they are 3rd cousins once removed (SUCH close cousins).  Anyway, Kienna still has all the boys trying to kiss her and the kids are all loving the playground right behind our backyard (of course, having cousins 3 minutes away who come and play all the time is a huge benefit too).

Things are coming slowly, but surely and we're all adapting well.  We sure miss our friends back in Edmonton, but we're excited to keep in touch and make new friends too!

Sorry for the brief and scatterbrained update....but it's about all my brain is capable of today.  (Now I get to go write a talk for Sunday with said brain...)
